Invitation letter

Please note that it is the delegate's responsibility to investigate the visa requirements for Germany and apply for visa if necessary.

Individuals requiring an official letter of invitation in order to obtain a visa to attend the conference should contact the IST SUMMIT conference secretariat. The letter of invitation does not financially obligate the conference organisers in any way. All expenses incurred in relation to the conference are the sole responsibility of the delegate.

To receive a letter of invitation, delegates must first register to the conference and submit payment in full. The registration fee will be refunded in full after the conference if proof is shown that a visa could not be granted. The IST SUMMIT conference secretariat will not directly contact embassies and consulates on behalf of applicants.

It is the sole responsibility of the delegate to take care of his/her visa requirements. For delegates who require an entry visa, please allow sufficient time for the application procedure. We recommend that you allow at least twelve weeks time prior to the conference. The process may take longer in certain countries so we therefore suggest that you contact your nearest German embassy or consulate to determine the appropriate timing of your application.

The deadline for requesting a letter of invitation is 10 June 2005.
