Oral Presentations

  • Sessions will comprise five presentations in 90 minutes, allowing for a 15-minute presentation plus questions and answers.

  • PCs for presentations will be provided. Please bring your presentation either on USB stick or CD to the conference, and upload it at our media point prior to the session. Acceptable formats are MS powerpoint and PDF. We kindly ask you not to use your personal laptop, since this usually incurs delays during the sessions.

  • If you wish your presentation to be published online together with your paper by the end of 2005, then please submit a pdf version to the media point during the conference.

  • To help in selecting candidates for the best papers that will be published in a special issue of European Transactions on Telecommunications, your session's chairperson will evaluate the presentation.

Poster Presentations

  • The size of the poster shall not exceed 100cm width x 120cm height. Please see an image of the poster wall.

  • Teaser Talk: To make your poster presentation more attractive, you can announce your poster with a short "teaser talk". Such a very brief presentation (1-2 minutes, using a single slide) at the beginning of your poster session will give you the chance to introduce your poster to a wider audience. To ensure the strict timing, the poster session will be moderated by a chairperson.

  • Your poster can be displayed on the whole day of your poster presentation - not just during your session, but from from 9am to around 5:30pm.

  • If you wish your poster to be published online together with your paper by the end of 2005, then please submit a pdf version to the media point during the conference.
